 AccorHotels launches on Snapchat (@AccorHotelsLive)

Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest… and now Snapchat! AccorHotels is strengthening its digital footprint and launches on the photo and video sharing network favored by the millennials.
Creativity, humor and quirky wit will all be featured to let snapchatters discover what goes on behind the scenes at the Group, as well as its Feel Welcome spirit: profiles of and spotlight on the knowledge and expertise of employees, visits to unusual destinations, hotels and places, live conferences from a Group pioneering digital hospitality and a leading employer in the tourism sector... 
The launch of the @AccorHotelsLive Snapchat account is part of a whole range of business initiatives launched in recent months to embody AccorHotels’ brand promise (Feel Welcome) in an original way, enabling the Group and its brands to raise their profile with an increasingly broad target market.






Signing of four new hotel projects
on the Mediterranean’s North Coast

AccorHotels has announced the signing of four new hotel management agreements - including the Fairmont Fuka Bay, Swissôtel Fuka Bay, Novotel Al Alamein City, and ibis Styles Al Alamein City, all due to open before 2022 - with ARCO, one of the foremost developers in high quality mixed-use real estate developments and integrated communities
AccorHotels currently operates 17 hotels in Egypt with 14 hotels in the pipeline and a total 31 hotels and 10,352 rooms and residences across luxury, upscale, midscale and economy segments. The addition of these hotel projects further underscores the Group’s 35 year old commitment to the destination and its growth potential.


Results of the Final «The World's Best Internship»  

The final of The World’s Best Internship competition took place on November 21, 2016 and it was ultimately Sarah’s profile that caught the attention of the jury, out of almost 1,000 candidates who applied via Snapchat, YouTube, Twitter and Facebook! Understated yet completely natural and with a genuine hunger for discovery and meeting people, her personality touched the jury and is in line with AccorHotels’ and Bruno Maltor’s values.

The day’s program: The candidates were invited to spend the day in the Showroom for JO&JOE, AccorHotels Group’s new brand designed and created for the Millennial-minded.
The morning was dedicated to individual interviews with the jury* made up of experts in management and digital marketing along with Bruno Maltor. During the interviews, questions were focused on their understanding of new technologies and social networks, their ability to create digital content, and also on their travel experiences and their personality! The candidates also wrote an article as part of a writing test. In fact, one of their duties will be to write for Bruno Maltor and to pen articles and posts for AccorHotels.
A group interview was held in the afternoon. The program included a presentation of a Snapchat Story that they were tasked with creating as a group throughout the morning and a discussion based on items that the finalists could not do without when travelling. The finalists finished with a round table during which each of them had to introduce their rivals and explain why each would be the right candidate to win The World’s Best Internship.

In Paris, Christmas is also being celebrated in our hotels!

Once upon a time it was December… its lights, its scents and its colors, which plunge young and old alike into the frenzy of the holiday season.
Once more this year, Sofitel is bringing the magic of Christmas to life in its hotels. With The Art of Christmas, an initiative rolled out internationally, Sofitel is giving its guests magical moments based on the theme of “Christmas Stories”. A storyteller will also be present in front of the lobby fireplace at the Hotel Scribe – Managed by Sofitel, to tell children the most wonderful Christmas stories on Sundays, December 4, 11 and 18, and then daily from Monday 19 through to Christmas Eve at 4pm. Older guests will have the opportunity to meet in the bar to enjoy Christmas treats. On the menu: delicious Christmas cakes, gingerbread and rum-flavored Mont Blanc desserts accompanied by hot chocolate or mulled wine.
Not to be outdone are the MGallery by Sofitel and Pullman hotels. The Hotel Paris Bastille le Boutet’s cocooning package will be the ideal opportunity to come and find a little warmth for a day: access to a superior room, swimming pool, sauna, steam room, gym and above all, tasting the hotel’s signature hot chocolate. At the Pullman Paris Centre Bercy, the Christmas menu and its yule log made entirely of chocolate created by chef Benjamin Barrere will awaken the taste buds.
Many more activities can be explored throughout the month of December in the hotels which have been decorated in their finery to make this a magical and enchanting time.

Travelers have voted the breakfast at the Pullman Paris Bercy hotel
“The Best Breakfast in France”
 
On November 14, the Pullman Paris Bercy was honored to receive the award for the 2017 Best Hotel Breakfast in France handed out by the website Trivago. It is the only ranking to take into account the comments submitted by the travelers on 34 review and booking sites.


The breakfast, served as a buffet, is made up of several sections.  In this way, guests can meander from corner to corner and enjoy the delicious foods offered to them. Among this array of flavors are hot and cold dishes, cold meats, a large selection of Lenôtre pastries and other sweet treats, a choice of fresh and cooked fruits, fruit juices, cheeses, yogurts and butters, both cows’ and plant-based milk, dried fruits, honey, jellies, condiments and all kinds of breads. There is also an organic corner as well as a gluten-free section for guests. A delight for everyone’s taste buds!

The Novotel Paris Les Halles unveils Atelier H,
a completely new concept for meeting spaces.
 
Located in the heart of Paris, in the Les Halles district, Atelier H offers 600m² of seminar space split into 7 studios. Designed by Jim Hamilton, the studios offer a new way of meeting and sharing. They are divided according to different vintage themes connected with telephony, television, music and photography. Atelier H offers a unique experience by providing state of the art work equipment within an environment conducive to wellbeing. A new ibis Styles on a vacation theme in
Toulon La Seyne sur Mer
 
Located 6km from the center of Toulon and close to the sea, this new 86-room hotel remains true to the unique and playful spirit of the ibis Styles brand. Its retro décor on the theme of “Going on vacation in the 1970s” was created by the talented Philippe Avanzi for the consultancy, Atelier Archange. This soothing environment mixes pastel shades with black and white photos, and is energized by a few splashes of pop colors.
Thanks to all its facilities, the ibis Styles Toulon La Seyne sur Mer is equally suited to a family break as to a business event.  It boasts an outdoor pool, eight modular meeting rooms (with a total meeting space of 200 m2), a bar, a Courtepaille Comptoir restaurant, as well as play areas for children and even a pétanque ground.
It should be noted that, as with all ibis Styles hotels, breakfast is included, plus Wi-Fi is free and unlimited!
