Le Link, the terrace bar at the Sofitel Strasbourg Grande Ile:
A new location for the winter season.

To extend the magic of the holiday season, the Sofitel Strasbourg Grande Ile is inviting guests and locals to come and discover the hotel’s new terrace bar, Le Link.  Nestled in the heart of the Grande Ile, just a short walk from the famous Place Kléber, the terrace enjoys a prime location. New menus, uniforms and furniture – nothing has been left to chance in making this bar a must-visit to enjoy a special experience.  The heated terrace provides a wonderful setting, blending lush vegetation with designer furniture.  In a warm and welcoming atmosphere, Le Link lets guests experience winter in the warmth, snuggled in easy chairs adorned with cushions and plaids. The bar offers a selection of main courses and desserts prepared using local produce, echoing the recent opening of the restaurant “Terroir & Co”, as well as a wide range of colorful and sophisticated cocktails.
Every Thursday, the terrace organizes a “Champagne Happy Hour” with a DJ, giving customers the opportunity to mix with friends and colleagues and enjoy socializing together.

Opening of Chalet Molitor x Veuve Clicquot:
Champagne and raclette on the menu!

This winter, the Hotel Molitor MGallery by Sofitel is taking anyone who will not have the chance to go skiing to the top of the slopes, thanks to the Chalet Molitor. In partnership with Veuve Clicquot, the Chalet is decorated as a ski station, with a welcoming design evocative of mountain chalets: wood, cozy easy chairs covered with soft plaids, and picnic tables where guests can sit and enjoy some time together. The space also boasts a chairlift with the snow-clad mountains as a backdrop, an elegant setting for a life-like experience.  Also on offer is a selection of cuisine. Every Thursday is the chance to enjoy raclette, with a menu composed of the Chef’s raclette and a Veuve Clicquot signature cocktail using Rich or Rich Rosé champagne. Every evening, the hotels’ mixology experts are at the Chalet Molitor, creating drinks based on the brand’s champagne, all accompanied by a selection of tapas. The cocktails offered are the “Rich Mule”: Veuve Clicquot Rich, Ketel One vodka, fresh cucumber and celery, Rhubarb bitters, fresh lime juice and white sugar, and the “French 1929”, made with Veuve Clicquot Rich Rosé, Tanqueray Ten gin, grapefruit segments, fennel seeds, fresh lime juice and white sugar.

A new ibis Styles address in Barcelona

The ibis Styles brand is continuing its international expansion, adding a sixth hotel in Spain to its portfolio:  the ibis Styles Barcelona City Bogatell.
Opened in October 2016, this new 213 bedroom hotel is the largest in the country. It is located in the heart of Barcelona near the beach in the dynamic 22@ district, which has been experiencing a cultural revival in recent years. The hotel is perfectly situated for going to the beach, strolling around the Port Olímpic marina and visiting the iconic cultural center of Barcelona.
The hotel and the bedrooms are comfortable and modern with a design inspired by the Mediterranean, as is the cuisine on offer. Throughout the year, guests can enjoy snacks and tapas in the bar or on the terrace, and breakfast and WiFi are both included in the stay. The rooftop pool helps guests relax while enjoying the breathtaking view of both the city and the sea.
Today, one of the hotel’s goals is to remain accessible to local residents.  Guests and locals alike can come to enjoy some time together at the hotel.
