See without being seen on the STAY Faubourg terrace at the Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg

The STAY Faubourg’s charming, peaceful garden is surprisingly located between Place de la Concorde and Faubourg Saint-Honoré, right in the heart of France’s bustling capital. Its large palm trees, tree ferns, camellias, clematises, and the trickle of its fountains… create a holiday atmosphere, allowing lunchtime visitors to indulge in a brief escapade and providing evening guests with the perfect setting for a romantic dinner. The STAY Faubourg is a favorite with quietly elegant, unfailingly chic but daring Parisian ladies.  Its chef, Yannick Alleno, serves friendly, generous and decidedly modern French cuisine. The elegant menu features salads, seasonal soups, the butcher’s best cuts, fresh fish, and pastries.  With the typical generosity of a brasserie, the chef’s menu includes a wide variety of flavors to cater for every whim. His dishes are refined and creative and freely inspired by iconic brasserie specialties in order to meet the culinary expectations of today’s Parisians, both men and women. They want lighter dishes, refined flavors and special attention to detail.   They also want to be surprised, and that’s an art… Here, they’ll be surprised, for example, to see a traditional, compact choucroute replaced with delicate salmon trout and Colmar turnip choucroute. They will also be astounded to find that they can escape into a relaxing garden without leaving the excitement of the Rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré.

This summer, the Novotel & Mercure terraces are taking part in #ParisDébranche

Starting in June, several Novotel and Mercure terraces will host “disconnected” evening events so hyper-connected and overbooked Parisians can take a break from work and the internet for an evening.
Participants, whether they are digital detox enthusiasts or simply intrigued by the concept, will be invited to take a photo on arrival and post it on the social networks to warn their friends and loved-ones that they will be unreachable for the evening. Then, they will be given a personalized phone case featuring the #ParisDébranche (Paris Unplug) hashtag and will have to put their phone in flight mode. At the end of the evening when they return their phone case, they will be able to reconnect.  There will be a host of activities on offer to help participants unwind while they disconnect, including cocktail workshops, massages, live music, and more.
Four themed evenings (sport, food, fun, art) will be organized on the following dates: 26th June at the Mercure Paris Centre Tour Eiffel, 29th June at the Mercure Paris Montmartre Sacré Cœur, 8th July at the Novotel Paris Vaugirard Montparnasse and 22nd July at the Mercure Paris Bastille Saint Antoine.
