The advertising epic: a 2nd campaign in France and an international campaign

This month, an advertising clip featuring, the Group’s distribution platform, will run on television and online in France, Switzerland and the United Kingdom from 2nd to 23rd March, and in Germany and Austria, from 22nd February to 20th March.

In a world of hyper choice for consumers, the campaign and its slogan, “Feel Welcome from the first click” remind viewers that the right choice is just one click away.’s expertise as a true online hotelier guarantees guests and future guests an experience that will meet all their expectations with the very best services before, during and after their stay. The advert was done by Publicis Conseil.

In March, Sofitel continues its taste tour of France with gourmet stopovers

After Marseille welcomed Biarritz, the Sofitel La Défense is looking forward to celebrating Alsace’s gastronomy for a week in collaboration with the Sofitel Strasbourg Grande Ile. For the occasion, Strasbourg Chef Vincent Rimmely will travel to Paris and work in Chef Mohamed Cheikh’s kitchens. From 16th to 25th March, Le Lounge will serve contemporary cuisine with an Alsatian twist. There will be a different menu every day and the duo of Chefs and their team will prepare two starters, two mains and two desserts. The menu will include Arctic char, Foie gras paté en croûte, Pike perch steak with a Riesling sauce and ostergruss radish, Slow-cooked confit of pig cheeks in beer, Brie with Kirsh and Strudel. The dishes will all be accompanied by the best wines from Alsace!
Between 23rd and 29th March, Dominique Frérard, Chef at the Sofitel Marseille Vieux Port, will be a guest of Christian Lherm, Chef at the Sofitel Lyon Bellecour and Philippe Guichonnet, Chef at the Silk Brasserie. They will work together to offer the people of Lyon typical Marseille and Provençal dishes as interpreted by Chef Frérard. The trio of chefs will concoct a selection of starters, mains and desserts, including a Tartare of sardines, tomatoes, olives and courgettes, Leg of rabbit with bacon and rosemary, Artichoke polenta, Pistachio and glacé griotte cherry financier, and Iced vanilla quenelle. Dominique Frérard certainly plans to win over Lyon with his gastronomic fare of Mediterranean inspiration which offers a blend of passion and emotion.

The contemporary art biennale at the Pullman Marseille Palm Beach

As part of the 70th anniversary celebrations of the Mediterranean Union for Modern Art founded by Henri Matisse and Pierre Bonnard, the Pullman Marseille Palm Beach is hosting the Contemporary Art Biennale from 27th February to 31st May. The occasion offers its guests the opportunity to enjoy emblematic contemporary works of art.  The creations of Miryan Klean and Yious [JB1] exhibited on the walls, and the works by Sébastien Zanello, Francis Guerrier, Felix Valdelievre and Hervé Nys displayed in the hotel spaces and gardens, invite reflection.  The sporadic way the works are exhibited invites guests to discover the hotel in a new light.  Through this event, the Pullman Marseille Palm Beach asserts its commitment to design, art, photography and local culture.

Johan Thyriot – the new Chef at Les Cures Marines in Trouville,

Johan Thyriot is the new Chef at “1912”, the restaurant at Les Cures Marines, the legendary seaside hotel and spa in Trouville. After three years at the head of the Bras Toya restaurant in Japan, he has developed his own signature cuisine based on the essential and his experience there explains his enthusiasm for rare herbs and peppers. The maturity and autonomy he acquired through this experience led him to run his own restaurant, the MEO in Tarascon in the Alpilles region in Southern France, where he was rewarded, just nine months after he arrived, with a Michelin star. Now, he prepares emotive food every day. His takes a responsible approach and only cooks with local produce. With every mouthful, the Chef takes guests on a journey through the elements – earth, water, air and fire.  The private, cozy atmosphere of the restaurant is already a journey in itself.  A promising new partnership – so watch this space!


Opening of the Novotel Istanbul Bosphorus 

 The Novotel Istanbul Bosphorus opened on 15th February 2016. It is located in the trendy neighborhood of Karakoy close to several tourist sites including the Golden Horn, the historic district of Sultanahmet and the Galata Tower. The hotel has 200 modern superior rooms and suites. The hotel’s guests can also enjoy an indoor pool, a spa offering massages, a sauna and a Turkish bath, and a fitness room. The hotel has seven meeting rooms or a total of 298m² for business events.  

Two ibis Styles open in Budapest

AccorHotels announces the opening of the first two ibis Styles hotels in Hungary’s capital, Budapest. These establishments join the other AccorHotels brands in the country, namely ibis, Mercure and Novotel. These two establishments are perfectly in tune with the brand’s DNA. The ibis Styles Metropole offers its guests an incredible experience in a colorful, playful setting featuring vintage video games and emblematic characters from the eighties. The ibis Styles Duna offers its guests the chance to experience the city at bicycling pace. Cycle culture is certainly booming in Budapest. With these two new addresses, ibis Styles continues to expand and strengthen its network of 239 hotels in Europe.
