52 employees graduate from the AccorHotels Academy
The AccorHotels Academy, a training organization accredited with the FAFIH (French Hotel Industry National Training Insurance Fund), is going to award PQCs (Professional Qualification Certificates) to 52 employees of the Pullman and the ibis Styles Roissy Charles de Gaulle, establishments that have recently opened within the Paris – Charles de Gaulle hub.
To facilitate the integration and upskilling of new employees, the AccorHotels Academy has, in collaboration with the hotels’ HR Managers, developed and held training sessions leading to three PQCs recognized by the hospitality industry: Housekeeping PQC, Restaurant waiter/waitress PQC and Receptionist PQC. In addition to expertise specific to their occupations, the teams received training specific to their respective brands and to AccorHotels’ corporate culture. Over the course of a year, employees alternated between attending theory lessons in class or online, and putting them to practical use in the field, each employee being monitored by a referring tutor.
The presentation of certificates will take place on September 16 at 4pm in the Pullman Paris Roissy CDG Airport, attended by the CEO of HotelInvest France, the Talent and Culture Department (HR Division) France and the CEO of Fafih.
The PQC is a certificate of qualification within a specific occupation in a professional industry. Created by this industry’s Joint National Employment Commission (French Commission Paritaire Nationale de l’Emploi or CPNE), it refers to a description of activities and capabilities. In relation to professionals, it holds an equivalent value to that of a National Education Diploma.
The 18 campuses of the AccorHotels Academy around the world are governed by three major missions: developing employees to ensure customers receive service levels of faultless quality, supporting the Group’s development through occupational skills training and spreading the Group’s values and culture throughout the company.

September 18, 2016, Hôtel Molitor – MGallery by Sofitel opens its doors on heritage days.
For 60 years, the Molitor has been the most popular swimming pool in the French capital. Its two huge pools, its galas and its avant-garde ambience were the stuff of dreams for all of Paris. Shut down in 1989 and classified as a Historical Monument, this location, with the support of gallery owner Magda Danysz, was until 2012 home to street artists, thereby making the space the biggest urban art location in the city with the empty pools becoming the preferred target of graffiti artists. The marks left by these artists mean that all the trends and techniques which mark this movement can be immediately appreciated. During the hotel renovation project, it was important for the architects to preserve this link between art and living space. Molitor has thus invited a large number of artists to redesign the walls of the winter pool cubicles, which the public will be able to come and see between 12pm and 6pm on Sunday September 18, 2016 during the European Heritage Days. On this occasion, visitors can enjoy a guided tour and attend a live performance by four renowned street art artists: Katre, Vinie Graffiti, Hopare and Jace. Not to be missed!

Among the new features, a spectacular staircase structured around the reception and the entrance to the hotel directly leads into a cocktail bar, the Mahogany Club, which is open to everyone and offers an impressive menu created and designed by a mixologist! Following extensive renovation work, the Mercure Toulouse Centre Saint Georges Hotel is unveiling its new spaces, combining modernity, comfort and aesthetics, to the widest audience.
